How Our Mould Remediation Works
Remediation isn’t just about wiping away visible mould. It’s a structured, multi-step process designed to remove spores, correct the underlying moisture issues, and prevent future growth.
We begin with a thorough inspection using moisture mapping, thermal imaging, and visual checks to assess how far the mould has spread. Once identified, we isolate the affected areas and wear appropriate PPE to work safely inside your property.
Contaminated materials may be removed depending on the severity. Treated surfaces receive detailed antimicrobial application to break down mould at the structural level. The process is tailored to the conditions of each site and strictly follows IICRC remediation standards.

How to Prepare for Mould Remediation
Clear the Surroundings
Where possible, please clear the area around mould-affected walls or windows to give technicians enough space to work efficiently. If you can’t move heavier items or have concerns about certain belongings, let our technicians know, so we can assist with moving furniture or discuss alternative options.
Cover / Clear
Although the product used in our remediation treatment is non-toxic, food safe, pet safe, and fabric safe, it may leave an unpleasant taste if ingested. Please store any food and mouth-contact items (such as toothbrushes, cutlery, pet bowls, or toys) in a closed space like a pantry or cupboard.
The product can leave a residue on surfaces. Where possible, allow it to air dry — this helps form a protective layer that inhibits micro-organism growth and will naturally biodegrade. If that’s not suitable in certain areas, we recommend covering those surfaces with a drop sheet or blanket.
For indoor pets kept in tanks, please cover the enclosure, as the airborne mist may act as a respiratory irritant or impact pH levels. If you're unsure how to protect any of these items, just let our team know — we’re happy to help.
Containment
In order for our micro-misting treatment to perform optimally, we ask that prior to our treatment
that all windows and doors be closed up to contain the product. If you're unable to reach certain windows/doors or not able to do this on your own, please let us know so that we can help you.
Vacate
To carry out our micro-misting remediation treatment safely, the property must be vacant of people and pets for two and a half hours. For guidance on preparing tank-based pets, please refer to the previous section “Cover/Clear.”
